Application process
Stage 1: Submit a one page synopsis (approx. 500 words) responding to the following three questions by 31 March 2017:
- How are you creative? How do you express your creativity?
- How are you persuading the gatekeepers (those who have the authority to promote or undermine your work) in your field of expertise, about the value of your work?
- How does your culture influence your creativity? How does your creativity influence your culture?
Stage 2: If your synopsis submitted in stage 1 of the application process is accepted, you will be asked to submit a 3,000 to 4,000 word transcript of a 15 minute video speech in which you will explain how you express your creativity within your society and culture. You will be asked to submit the transcript by 31 May 2017.
Stage 3: If your transcript is accepted, you will be asked to record and send a 15 minute video speech, using the TED talk style of presentation (guidance will be provided) by 31 July 2017.
