 Bringing out the Best in Others 

When I mentioned meeting Jia Lu to a friend of mine here, she told me how she had similarly met Salvador Dali in the late 80s here (he used to live in Hawaii) and how a signed postcard from him which she still has is now worth over $10,000. I told her I would go back to the gallery and ask Jia Lu to sign something for me before she goes back to Los Angeles so that in 20 years time I could, likewise, sell my evidence of being in contact with her! J

What was it about Salvador Dali that had made an impression on my friend apart from the fact that he made her $10,000 richer by autographing a postcard for her? 

“He had a talent in realising that EVERYONE has a special gift in something and his communication style was especially engaging because he was focused on what YOU were really good at rather than what HE was really good at!” 

If you reflect back you will probably notice that your best teachers at school were the ones who saw the best in YOU….the most remarkable people in your life are probably the ones that have inspired you to discover YOUR talents and taught you how to develop YOUR skills.

How often are you focused on supporting and celebrating the success of others? You will probably find that your raving fans are the ones you made feel special in some way.
