161103 How to deal with real life conflict? We all have to deal with real life conflict and the “master coach” that I have seen dealing with conflict most effectively is my favourite teacher, Anthony Robbins…. A few days ago, I received an e-mail from someone who criticised Tony for not letting a member of the audience go up on stage to speak to him at a seminar in London….apparently Tony had asked his helpers to get the man off the stage.. and this was perceived as being too cold and harsh by the person who wrote in the e-mail. My response was as follows: “If I had seen someone march up on stage uninvited and seen Tony click his fingers and say "get him off stage" I would have been well impressed by his effectiveness as always....there are millions of attention-seekers who want to be up close and personal with Tony or other celebrities.....he's not just a master coach and master salesman....he's also a celebrity! In response to the people who question his level of "walking his talk"..... On THAT September 11, Tony Robbins was in Hawaii with thousands of participants on his Life Mastery programme....many of them from New York and lots of other countries and religions......they were woken up in the middle of the night to hear the news and he had to manage the traumatic responses of thousands of people and create a positive outcome....the people who were on that particular seminar were positively changed for life....when I hear their stories about how effective Tony was in response to the tragedy, I know he is more than a master coach, master salesman and even celebrity.....he's blessed with a gift that cannot be learnt or acquired on the mind level.......he doesn't hide his gratitude to God for all his successes. How did YOU react on September 11 and how many people did YOU help?” A fellow coach, Sarah Litvinoff, posted the following reply to this e-mail: I was at that
9/11 Tony Robbins seminar in Hawaii you mention
Jesvir, and I agree with everything you say. It
was the most extraordinary experience. The day was
scheduled for "Emotional Mastery" (!) can you
believe, and he certainly had to prove his own
mastery in handling a room full of 2000 angry,
grieving, fearful, shocked, "why am I here?"
people. Quite a few knew then and there that loved
ones were dead. The learning was profound and My reply to Sarah’s e-mail was as follows: Dear Sarah....your e-mail moved me to tears....I have heard lots of stories from people who were at Tony Robbins' seminar on September 11 in Hawaii and each time I hear another story it moves me to re-connecting with that "something deeper" It amazes me how we are all inter-connected.....on September 11 when you were experiencing those moving transformations in Hawaii, I was working here in London with refugees from lots of countries including Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan......I had been planning for a few years to move to Hawaii but on that day I decided to put my dream of settling down in Hawaii on hold because I felt there was so much work that needed to be done right here in London for me....I will be doing my first leadership seminars in Hawaii in a few months time but I'll talk about that in a separate e-mail marked "Advert" J this e-mail is no longer anything to do with Tony Robbins but our inter-connectedness....."No man is an island....." If you would like to see a clip of the video where Tony deals with the Muslim and Jew that Sarah mentions above, click here: http://www.robbins-madanes.com/products.html# – click on “watch trailer” halfway down the page……it is very moving and inspiring and it just might move you to tears. |
