Do you sometimes feel so certain that you have the facts about a situation and therefore know the "truth" about it, only to be presented with a very different set of facts about the same context which render your previous conclusions to be a mere illusion?
Being educated; in other words having the privilege of an education which is still a luxury not available to all, implies a great sense of responsibility. Those of us that are educated are expected to demonstrate leadership. It is expected that we will use our knowledge and awareness of what is going on in the world politically, economically, socially and environmentally to benefit mankind.
Richard Duvall, the co-creator of Egg, a digital bank spoke at an Ecademy meeting in July 05. He said:
We are changing - suddenly, radically and permanently. The consumer revolution of the last fifty years is giving way to the Individual Revolution of the next twenty. People who used to define themselves by what they consume - by the brands they wear, by the cars they drive and by the consumer electronics they own - now define themseves by their self-expression - by who they are, by how they lead their lives and by what they care about.
About a year later, Richard Duvall, a dynamic entrepreneur & pioneer, died unexpectedly.
