Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. How do English for International Leadership courses differ from general English courses?
Our course content is based on management, leadership and business topics so students are learning English and expanding their practical knowledge about useful management, leadership and business strategies. We create opportunities for students to network with one another across countries (our online students are currently based in over 16 countries) and to practice their language skills in realistic contexts which are actually relevant to the lives of our students. The fact that we limit our class sizes to 5 means that we can customise our programme to cater for the needs of each student.
We offer a Certificate of Completion at the end of each course which states the number of hours each student completed on the course and our comments about their progress. We do NOT prepare students for formal academic exams although all our teachers are qualified and experienced in preparing students for Cambridge First Certificate, Cambridge Advanced, Cambridge Proficiency and also the IELTS exams. We have made a conscious decision not to focus on exams in favour of creativity and spontaneous conversations instead. However, we can advise students about where to sit for Cambridge exams and how to prepare for them with self-study, should they wish to or need to.
